Claritin may treat Lyme Disease. Well, that is news, because it appears to be an over the counter antihistamine. They say the Loratadine metabolizes to desLoratadine which starves the borrelia of manganese. Perhaps it is a magic bullet that in combination with the wild apple herb can scrub it. Here is more information on the study by the Bay Area Lyme Foundation. Well, that, and Happy Valentine’s Day.

This may also help with congestion we noticed with wild apple leaf, which wipes out rheumatoid arthritis alone apparently. I saw no mention of parasite exit that we noticed.

So I went to WalMart and got some – Equate Loratadine 10 mg. All the other varieties were like Claritin D  Non Drowsy with pseudoephedrine except that one. About $16 for 30 tablets. Took one, and after about a half hour, noticed advanced itchiness in my hands, an odd side effect. That subsided after a few hours. It could have been due to some service station soap I used. Slightly dry mouth overnight, but you can feel a bit of a herxing reaction. Noticed onset of a bit of congestion, so took a couple grams of chewable Vitamin C to thin the mucus out. The thing is that there definitely is a reaction happening there. We will see.
